Evidence is something you can check yourself. The two don’t carry the same weight.”<\/p>\n <\/div>\n\n <hr class=\"rule\">\n\n <h2 class=\"h2\">So in Singapore, what should you actually look at?<\/h2>\n\n <p>\n Rather than have you take my word for how good we are, I’d rather hand you the tools to judge. You don’t need to believe me on the three things below \u2014 you can go and verify them yourself. That, to me, is the way that actually holds up.\n <\/p>\n\n <div class=\"check\">\n <div class=\"row\">\n <div class=\"tick\">\u2713<\/div>\n <div class=\"ct\">\n <div class=\"t\">1. Does the founder really have a research identity?<\/div>\n <div class=\"d\">Whether a brand is willing to put its founder’s real identity out in the open often tells you something about its confidence. It’s not that the founder has to be a doctor \u2014 it’s whether what he says can be checked by an outsider.<\/div>\n <div class=\"how\">How to check it yourself: go to Google Scholar or PubMed and search “Kien-Seng Lim”, or the paper’s DOI 10.3390\/ph19040563, and see whether it really exists and whether that name is among the authors.
